Yellow and snowing

Well my favorite color is yellow, but... It is very hard to work with. Great challenge to get me to try and use it. I had to sponge everything with basic gray just to tone it down a bit. This is a non traditional Valentines day card. Not quite sure what I am going to do with it. So let me know what you think about this card.

Can you beleave it is snowing again!! We are supposed to get about 3 inches. Cory should be getting allot more.

Wow what a big flower

Well I am trying to work on some cards today and this is called a dahlia fold. Well lets just say next time I will use a smaller circle. For instructions on this fold go to here DAHLIA FOLD

Man it is cold here!!!

Well today is the first day I am coherent. I worked 4 in a row and It was very mentally stressful for me this time. I can not elaborate but sometimes I just don't think God plays fair. It is 14 degrees here, not that is cold. Here is the card I made for today. I made a square 6x6. I normally don't make square cards but this just hit me. Oh well so let me know what you think.

This was a fun card to make. I used all scraps that were on my design table. I have used the little bird before, so when I stamp one I stamp several. So he was already done and waiting for me to use. Well I work tonight so I probably wont be stamping for the next 4 days maybe 5 I need one to rest.

Painted card

Well I thought this was going to be easier than it was. I first embossed the back of a pad of paper cardboard with my cuttle bug D'vine swirls. Then I painted with Delta cream coat paint. Too dull for me so I brushed on some glitter paint. Too shiny for me so I then sprayed with Memories mists amaretto. Well then that was ok. So I went to the task of making the card, and this is what I came up with.

Well I am trying to keep up my card making skills, so here is another one. I thinking I am getting worse than better.

Just another card I did today. Our carpets were cleaned today so I had to stay down in my studio and create:)

Photo Wallet

I have been wanting to make this Photo Wallet. It was a bit laber intensive for me. Although it was fun to work with the memories of the trip. Cory had such a good time looking at the fire stations and Ivi just loved the American Girl Doll Store. I look forward to going back some time. I think for spring break this year we are going to New Orleans. More on that later.

Wow what a great day.

First off, HAPPY BIRTHDAY LYNNE!!! We had our first monthly scrapbooking get together today at my home. Lynne and Amy showed up to play. Great friends, good food and fun all around. those who did not attend will want to do it next month!! Her are some pictures of what we did today. Lynne is finishing up on her daughters soccer album. Amy worked on her son's last three Halloween layouts, and I worked on Ivi's monthly album. We got allot done today. What do you think!!!

Yet another card today!!

Rick and Ivi are watching transformers, not my kinda movie. Cory is at Jaylee's house, and I was canceled from work. So what do I do? Go and make more cards of course. So what do you think of this one.

Well part of my new years resolution is to stamp or scrap at lest 5 times a week. Well easier said than done.

Exciting news is that I made the design team at stampers ink. What a fun place.

Have any of you ever thought you had too much stuff. Well for a fleeting moment this morning I did. It passed quickly!! Just wanted to add this new card I made today.

Howdy all, It has been a great weekend so far. Cory is home for a long weekend and it is always great to have him here, and I don't have to work this weekend. I made this card today I like it and Cory said he liked it allot. That means it's a keeper. Today is my nieces birthday.

Hi, it's been awhile

Hi everyone, it has been awhile. Thank you for all of your kind words and thoughts. I have been sick for 3 months now with nothing but a cough it has really kept me down. I decided to make this card today. It was made with Ivi's smile in mind. I just love her smile and love the fact that she loves to share it.
